Powered Roller Conveyors

Lineshaft roller conveyors.

Powered roller conveyors which operate on the basis of a rotating lonitudinal shaft under the conveyor rollers.

Traction to the rollers is provided by the use of small selts and plastic spools which allow traction, but also allow products to accumulate on the conveyor if there is a queue.

 Powered bends available.

Construction available in painted steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Zero Line Pressure (ZLP) roller conveyors.

These conveyors offer incredible options for the user based on intelligent control and the use of conveyor zones.

Motorised rollers in pre defined zones power the rollers adjacent to them via small belts.

These powered rollers are controlled by sensors in the conveyor which can detect the presence or not of a product and act accordingly to index an individula product to the next available zone.

This flexibility offers the user the option to make products queue up on the conveyor system in the most efficient way, utilising the maximum conveyor space available.

This technology can also avoid the products on the conveyor touching each other. Advantageous where the product is fragile or has special packaging.

Chain drive roller conveyors.

Used for heavy applications such as pallet and heavy product handling.

Rollers are powered via chains and sprockets hidden away in the side channels.

Accumulation is possible.

Frame construction is painted steel or aluminium.

Other options available for product orientation (See below).

And we will help you specify your conveyor.

Product orientation.

Box Inverter.
Catches box and rotates on the longitudinal axis to upend the box. Subsequent inverters can perform the operation again to totally invert the box.

Rotation stage.

Lifts and rotates the box up to 360 degrees for alignment with subsequest equipment such as scanners and labeling equipment.

Lift and transfer.

Uses chains or belts to lift the product above the rollers and trasnsfer to another lane. Then drops below the rollers to allow continuation of transport on new lane.

Turntable.

Used on heavy systems for pallets. Chain driven roller conveyor with motor powered turntable action repositions pallet in 4 directions (Or increments of).

Product repositioning while moving.

Datum lineup rollers.
Rollers set at a slight angle gradually persuade the product to move to one side of the conveyor, thereby lining up one edge for further manipulation or processing.

Product rotate fitting.
Gives a glancing assist to rotate the box as it passes. Here you can see the upper box is lining up to the left datum as above, then it passes the rotate fitting to start a 90 degree repositioning process that can be completed with another set of datum lineup rollers.

The fitting is repositionable and removable.

Access and safety.

Special and standard solutions are available for access to and through larger conveyor systems.

Shown on the right is a conveyor bridge which allows the operator to interrupt the product flow and open a bridge to walk through. When the bridge is lowered, the conveyor starts again.

Conveyor covers, guards systems and walkover bridges are also available.

Product Stoppers.

Many designs available to stop products while on roller conveyors of all types.

Most operate with pnuematic cylinders which are triggered by sensors and controllers.

Manual versions and permanent fixed end stops also available in various designs.
